As a parent it can be so frustrating to feel lost when it comes to handling your child’s emotional outbursts or difficulty staying focused throughout the day. When these behaviors occur frequently in a child’s life, whether due to ADHD, anxieties, or difficulty handling big emotions, children can begin to feel like something is wrong with them, that they can never do anything right. Maybe your teen is struggling with worry or anxiety, feeling exhausted by the pressure of school or perhaps a history of trauma. Seeing their pain causes parents to feel weighed down by guilt.
